I painted this painting especially for Christmas. I wanted to portray the love and joy Mary and Joseph felt despite the difficult situation, because they knew what a treasure they were holding and guarding.
“Mary, did you know” is my favourite Christmas song and makes me cry almost every time I listen to it. That’s why I gave my painting the title.
